“A few of the Finch House residents (Tiny Ensemble) went on tour this spring, traveling from little ol’ Sarasota up the East Coast and back through the mountains. We met soon-to-be betrothed truckers, true mountain hillbillies, arrowhead collectors, boomerang enthusiasts and medical test subjects, not to mention musicians of every breed. Speaking of test subjects, we were fortunate enough to pick up the Emotron along the way in Charlotte at a “Summer of Meat” barbecue and toured together to Philadelphia, Emotron’s hometown. Matt (Mose Giganticus), Kyle (Emotron) and Jerry Wayne (Nightmare Pizza), among others, let us eat their food, shower at their place and explore the neighborhood in style. We played a show in the basement of the Bernie Mac Memorial Museum with our new Philadelphia friends, drank 40s and took lots of pictures….”
