Finch House Records formed during 2009 by the then residents of a historic, if not weathered, house on 9th St. in Sarasota, FL. The late night jams in the Gillespie neighborhood turned into bands playing shows and recording their music, but with no further distribution than a chain of hands tracing back to a few overworked computer CD drives. The team released each others’ demo recordings, handed out mixtapes at shows, created a local compilation (soon thereafter imitated by Creative Loafing), and again with a 2000 count pressing of the original Noise Ordinance double-disc comp. The latest release in their catalog is a joint effort with NJ based Atlas Records, available to online retailers worldwide- including Amazon and iTunes.
The Finch House crew invite everyone to celebrate with a champagne toast, listening party, and Q&A session on the evening of the release.

“The whole album is an ultra- must have, absolutely fantastic! A mellifluous mix of lyrical genius, doo- wop, and decades of parties packed into each minute of the record. The entire cut is witty, entertaining, and there is even a sexophone! Your life will feel better once you put this on!” -Doobious.org
“Like billy joel showing up to your birthday party. The right kind of zany and a bass player who is just too cool for words… like gets stabbed in the chest and plays the show anyway cool. and their drummer has really weird business cards.” -Neil Fridd
‘”What would happen if you gave Modest Mouse a drunken beach bash and got the B-52s’ Kate Pierson to spin sand circles then pee on herself during a keg stand?’ The EP plays like a soundtrack to that kind of party.” – thisweekinsarasota.com
